It’s one of those things that you don’t really think twice about. If you were to have apples with peanut butter back home, Canada, no one would think twice about it. But in Oz, I get the weirdest looks. My flatmate and his mate were making gagging noises as I ate it last night for a snack. If only they’d actually try it. Apparently it’s nut just a OZ thing, must be a down under thing b/c when I was in New Zealand the Kiwis were asking how I could eat that… mmmmm so good.
