she’s a dumbass

Who’s a dumbass? My Marketing Communications prof, that’s who. Why is she a dumbass? well let me tell you why…

  • Let’s start with last night’s class on internet advertising and sales promotions, she was showing us internet user stats from 98/99!! Do you not think that people’s use patterns would change in the last five years?!?!
  • My group got an assignment back and she revealed that when my group asked her questions about it, she PURPOSELY led us astray! She said that she wanted us to figure it out for ourselves, if that’s the case, just tell us so and don’t mislead us!! There’s something ethically wrong with that.
  • On the same assignment (assigning air time for a TV commercial), we were supposed to inuitively know what programs are on at what times, ok, I’ll give her that. But when my group decided to take into account that less people watch TV during the summer, that wasn’t acceptible! I guess the reruns weren’t a good enough hint for her.
  • Lastly… when she presents case studies like she’s an authority on them and continuously gets facts wrong. I used to have a classmate in the marketing industry (who later dropped the course due to her dumbass-ness) who would show me all the facts she got wrong. And when we tell her about them, we’re the ones that are wrong.

There are a couple more points, but I think you get the idea… she’s a dumbass!
