Well tomorrow I’m off to Melbourne. You know you’re officially a frisbee junkie when you start flying to different cities for non-nationals tournaments. This weekend is the Melbourne Hat, which means that I don’t fly down as part of a team. All teams are drawn from names in a hat (hence the title). I think that the focus on the tourny is to have a good time, as opposed to winning. While winning would be nice, you have no clue how good your team is before you arrive. But I’m just looking forward to playing a shit load of frisbee, it’s scheduled for 8 games in 2 days.
In other news, I got a couple rolls of slide film processed the yesterday and I must say they look good! The photos are of Luna Park, Chinese Gardens and some macro photography with my new extension tubes (ie close-ups of flowers). So I’ll hopefully be able to get a friend to scan them on his film scanner. If not, I’ll have to wait until I get home in February to do it.
