Well can’t really say too much has been going on. After being cut from BMF, I’ve finally found a team to play on, Roy. They’re a guys team that’s part of a club system that feeds into the best guys team in the GTA, GOAT. But the only prob is that Roy is the third tier, I would rather be playing second tier with GT, but they already have a full roster, which means I gotta take what I can get. Especially at this stage in the game, that’s what I get for getting far in the BMF tryouts, other teams have already made their rosters. On a good note is that I’ll be playing in the men’s division, something I’ve never done. I’ve only played coed before, not single sex. It’s suppose to be more intense, bring it on!
Was down at the Distillery Jazz Festival yesterday and I gotta say that I think that it’s a pretty cool idea to hold a music festival in that area. The Distillery District is a pretty historic area and it’s been renovated to host tons of galleries. So it’s fitting that they host a music festival.
Oh and speaking of music, looks like Paul Anka is following in Johnny Cash’s footsteps. While Cash did a wicked cover of Nine Inch Nails’ Hurt, I just found out that Paul has a version of Soundgarden’s Black Hole Sun. He defo adds his own twist to it and gives it a Sinatra feel, you’ll have to check it out for yourself. I like…
