Man… my laptop seriously doesn’t like humidity. The last few days in TO have been a little bit humid and I live in an old house, 80+ years old. In other words, there isn’t any air-conditioning. Which by itself doesn’t bother me b/c I’ve never lived in a house with air-con, even when I lived in Australia. Well my laptop likes to get hot when I play the odd computer game or have it on for a long time and if it gets super hot it has an automatic shutdown feature to protect the parts from overheating. Well lately it’s been doing this during normal usage. For example I left my computer on last night b/c I was downloading stuff and woke up to it shutdown. So not cool. Maybe I’ll have to do my surfing in the basement where it’s naturally cooler, thankfully my dad put a internet jack there, smart one dad.
