chicks dig shiners right?

Well last night was fun… I went to practice and got myself a shiner. Was running to catch a disc and the defender knocked it just as I was about to catch it and it raised into my eye. Who said ultimate frisbee isn’t a dangerous sport? Good news is that it only hit the orbital bone and someone had one of those instant ice pack thingies, so I was good. It helped with the swelling and this morning it ain’t too bad, a little bit of bruising but nothing major.

The last few days in TO have been really muggy and you knew a storm was brewing… thank fully it didn’t wait for the weekend. In the last couple days the heavens opened up and unleashed its furry, it was quite a specticle to see. Actually, reminded me a lot of being back in Oz… man I miss that place.

Ok, I know I’m a little slack on the blog postings, but I’m gonna work on it, maybe work on a new three-column layout that will help with the display of the posts and seperate them from the link posts… just an idea I’m playing around with.

Oh, on the music side of things, went to check out Bedouin Soundclash last Friday as part of the NXNE music festival, which in turn is just the younger and smaller sibling of SXSW in Austin. If you haven’t checked out Bedouin or the festival… make sure you do, I’m a huge fan and they’re starting to get big. They’re doing a lot of touring with the Warped Tour this summer… check them out… NOW!
