So I’ve finally done it.. I bit the bullet and finally jumped into the digital SLR market. After a number of years with my trusty Canon AE-1 and Nikon F80, I finally came to the conclusions that Nikon’s latest (the D80) was too much for me to resist.
So what made me make the jump? Don’t really know. I’ve been wanted one for a while but none of the “entry” level models really floated my boat. The first Nikon DSLR what did it for me was the D200 but I balked at the $2100 price tag. So when this one came out, I figure it must have been fate b/c I have the F80 and the D80 seems like just a natural progression. Not to mention, from the specs it seemed closer to the D200 than the D70s (the model that the D80 replaces). So with good tech-specs and good pricing… how could I resist. I’m giddy with excitement.
