This wasn’t a primal yell, though it would have made for an interesting time, it’s a yawn. This gorilla yawned numerous times when we were there. I’m happy that the gorillas got a new enclosure from when iw as last at the zoo ten years ago.
Watching the gorillas reminded me of why I don’t like zoos. They seemed so bored and didn’t know what to do with themselves. it was really sad to see. I hope that it’s because I caught them at an off time and that they’re usually more active.
