A storm came through this weekend. It was short but fierce and guess who got caught in in… that’s right, me. The wind was so strong that branches were falling off trees, one of which landed on my head, no joke. It wasn’t the smallest branch on the tree and wasn’t the largest, but it still had some size to it. Luckily I don’t have much to damage. It didn’t hurt, it was more the shock of the whole thing than anything.

Later that afternoon I was at a friend’s place and even though the clouds were dark and heading east, things to the west were clearing up. Hence the lighting in this photo. The dark clouds in the east and the sun which is close to setting finds a gap in the clouds and shines on the houses behind us.

    By the way, I really like the program you’re using on this photoblog–the curled corners is great! Never seen it done quite like this before.
